This is a genuine Hisense water tank for your fridge. This water tank is used to store water in and helps to keep the water flowing from your fridge door dispenser, so you get a fresh, cold drink with just a press of the lever. When you push, a series of switches activates the valve system, pulling water from the tank and delivering it straight to your glass.  The water tank's design features a strong transparent plastic which helps to prolongs it's use. It's usually found mounted behind your fridge door or back wall. The tank includes a bottom port where water seamlessly filters through. There's also a guide line marking of MAX 2.5L, allowing you to see the water level clearly. The top of the tank has a white lid and small holes around it which helps the water pressure run smoothly. This also helps to securely close the lid after filling the water tank , without any leaks.

When should you replace your fridge water tank?

You should get a replacement if nothing happens when you press the lever and no water flows out. This could mean there's an issue with the tank, water line, or valve. Swap it out with this replacement part. Other signs such as cracks and leaks, discolouration, mold and an unpleasant taste or smell should all be swapped out for a replacement part as soon as possible.
